Červený Kostelec is located in a rugged foothill terrain on the slopes
of the Jestřebí Mountains. Hills surrounding the town offer
unforgettable views in all directions. Červený Kostelec is a very lively
town, where all the time something is happening. The most important
event is the annual five-day international folklore festival, which is
one of the largest in Europe and is organised under the patronage of
UNESCO.
